Our gallery is an open, elegent, sky-lit interior space floded with natural light, which is enhanced by the world-class exhibitions that grace it. The Art Center is nestled on a 8.5 acre wooded lot and offers a beautiful open lawn which can be utilized for outside entertaiining. Whatever your needs, out knowledgeable staff are here to guide you through the planning process and assist you in making your event extrodinary.

Family Day

The Beaded Pouch Community Art Project

Saturday, 11-1

April 5th

           Join us Saturday April 5th from 11-1 for a free Mansfield Art Center family day.  This family day will offer the Art Center community the opportunity to make a “beaded pouch.”  Each beaded pouch will be made from a wide range of materials that we will have available.  Materials will be available that are appropriate for all ages.  Each pouch will have a wish sealed inside.  The pouches will be collected and displayed at the Mansfield Art Center June 15th- July 13th.  Make two pouches; one to keep and one to leave as a part of our community exhibit!  Please register by Thursday, April 3rd.

Touchable Colors

            We’ll have a really touchy feely experience with finger paints, brushes, and lots, and lots of colors!  Registration is limited.

Tuff Stuff Textures

Grades K-2

Tuesday, 4-5

Instructor: Jodi Burgholder

            Experiment with texture by painting with objects and adding a variety of objects to the paint.  By experimenting with different textures and painting with unusual brushes we’ll create an unusual paining in both look and feel.  Registration is limited

            Have you noticed that you are surrounded by patterns?  Students will observe bold, graphic patterns, textile patterns, as well as subtle patterns found in nature.  We will create original paintings and prints based on observed patterns.
