EXHIBITS
In the main gallery:
AUGUST 26 THE SINGING EYE: FRED GUTZEIT AND THE REALISM OF SEEING
Recent paintings explore the imagined space of science, an abstract mathematical space with a global structure more complex that Euclidean space. Other works investigate how the natural forms of foliage, rocks, and water become patterns. Instead of the light and look, Gutzeit’s paintings express the experience as moving through space accompanied by a kind of music.
In the first floor gallery:
AUGUST 26 STEPPING OUT OF TIME: STUDIO 214
Priscilla Roggenkamp & Keith McMahon are the partnership that make up Studio 214. Their mix media exhibit is an experience not to be missed.
